Create is delighted to welcome reknown UK based designer Ann Kingstone to teach Shetland Lace techniques. Ann's designs are inspired by the history, traditions and literature of the area and use the most up-to-date hand-knitting techniques.
You will learn the history of the lace, how to read charts, how to read your knitting and much more.
This course is suitable for those who would like to further develop their knitting skills as well as experienced lace knitters who wish to explore this fascintating lace technique.
Included: Yarn, tutition, tea/coffee/biscuits.
You need to bring: A selection of needles between 2.5mm and 4mm - either straight or circular needles, your lunch.
